THIS IS THE ORIGIN OF BEDBUGS IN KENYAN CAMPUSES

It is a common thing to hear comrades complain about Bedbug attacks. Almost every University, has at least one hostel infested by this crazy blood sucking animal or do we call it an insect. Whatever. So where do this animals come from, how to they spread and why? This are some of the questions that run across the minds of many comrades. You will find students from KU, UoN, Moi, Egerton, JKUAT, TUK, TUM, Kimathi, MMUST and all other universities complaining about this little but crazy animals. As team Campus Kings and Queens, we decided to investigate into the matter and through thorough research, we came up with these theories that possibly explain the origin of Kungunis in Hostels. Here we go.

THEORIES

1. Administration Injection Theory.

This theory states that, the bedbugs could have been intentionally injected into the University Hostels by the administration so as to discourage the university students from sleeping for many hours. The main intention being to increase number of hours students use to study and reduce the hours spent sleeping. As you know, in campus, no one will force you to study but if kungunis are used, you will probably prefer to spend more time on that table with a book than spending time scratching your body due to kunguni bites. You will only retire to bed when you are totally exhausted in that, you wont feel any bite.

2. Punishment Theory.

It suggest that bedbugs must have been introduced into hostels by God as a way of discouraging immoral behavior. It is very difficult to do that act on a bed infested by bedbugs. They would occasionally distract you when you are almost liberating KIsimayu, bringing you to square one and finally giving up before bombing the Alshababs at Kisimayu. The theory is also known as the MORALITY THEORY.

3. Travelers theory.

This theory limits the spread of kunguni to those who come from distant places. Those who use long distant buses like Msamaria, Mbukinya, Ugwe, Matunda, Chania and the rest. Since it is within a students desighn to save some shillings they find themselves boarding those cheap, cheap busses that have never seen water or fumigation since 1900...this buses are the perfect breading ground for bedbugs since they have a constant supply of balanced diet. If you know you travel with this buses then you are among the main causes of MICROCOMRADES IN YOUR HOSTEL ROOM.
