Two
people died while three others
among them an Assistant Chief are
fighting for their lives in hospital
after consuming traditional brew at
a chang’aa den in Meru.
Sources reveal that the victims
drunk illicit brew and started
experiencing convulsions.
Two of them died on the spot while
the rest were rushed to hospital
where they are admitted with
severe stomach pains and
dehydration.
Police are looking for the den’s
owner who fled because of fear for
mob justice.
